Meet Emmaline

Emmaline is a bright and curious 8-year-old girl from Haiti who dreams of becoming a history professor. She loves exploring Haitian culture and learning about Black history. Through fun and inspiring adventures, Emmaline teaches young readers to embrace their heritage and be proud of who they are.

After Visiting Haiti in 2016, Maudelyne felt compelled to help tell Haiti's rich history to all children, notably those of African descent. Her goal is to be one of the voices sharing stories about all our ancestors.

Since then, Maudelyne has put herself into the shoes of her fictional character Emmaline as she explores the history of Haiti in a fun, interesting and interactive way
