During my Author Visits is where I share my passion for history and Haiti directly with your students! Doing so with coloring books, reading part of the story aloud to them and stopping to explain the lessons and implications of the history that's seen through my main character Emmaline. Through her, I'm able to better connect to the students which results in increased learning and reception.
